This role will be located on-site at the FDOT Corridor Program Office located in Celebration, FL. 

In the role of Workforce Development Clerk, we'll count on you to: 
  • Entering and maintaining candidate and onboarding data in internal systems.
  • Assisting with tracking workforce development candidates through the recruitment and onboarding process.
  • Assist with recruiting efforts for new leads through initial phone calls and emails, as well as follow-ups throughout the onboarding process.
  • Supporting documentation, preparation and organization for new hires.
  • Coordinating administrative aspects of onboarding workflows.
  • Ensuring records are complete, accurate, and updated timely.
  • Assisting the team with general clerical and administrative tasks related to recruitment operations.

Additional Administrative / Clerical Support Duties

In addition to recruitment support, this role could also assist the team with general administrative coordination, including:

  • Tracking service tickets and monitoring progress.

    • IT Asset Inventory

    • Software Licensing & Subscriptions

    • User accounts & Devices

    • IT Service requests

    • Projects

    • IT Purchase requests

  • Coordinating with manager on status updates and follow-ups.

  • Assist Facility Manager with tracking facilities issues and monitor resolution progress.

  • Assisting with obtaining quotes for project related items.

  • Maintaining tracking logs for service requests and facilities items.

  • Drafting status updates, reports, and follow-up emails for the team.

  • Providing general clerical and data tracking support to assist team operations.

  • Other related duties

Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate degree 
  • Ability to work on-site in Celebration, FL 
  • Local candidates



Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent verbal and written communication including grammar, punctuation, proofreading, spelling and telephone skills
  • Flexibility and ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and various managers in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated, well-organized and detail-oriented
  • Ability to handle confidential information
  • Proficiency with MS Office including Word and Outlook
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
