Position title: Valet Parking Clerk
DIVISION: Hotel
Department: Parking/Valet
Grade/FLSA STATUS: H8 - Non-Exempt
BADGE TYPE/COLOR: Key--Blue
rEPORTS tO: Supervisor, Transportation
SUPERVISES: NA
JOB SUMMARY:
Process Valet payment transactions, queue vehicles for delivery, and file key packs and tickets systematically to ensure that the highest level of guest service is achieved and maintained.
JOB ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Process payment transactions utilizing an electronic cash register system
Operate retrieval indication system, and queue vehicles for delivery in an organized manner
Scan parking tickets for date and time measurement recording
Receive key packs and parking tickets from Valet parkers
Ensure parking tickets properly reflect the location of all vehicles parked
Process rental of scooters and check-in and check-out of wheelchairs with all paperwork
Demonstrate high levels of service skills on a consistent basis
Delight our guests with outstanding service
Ensure parking tickets have been completed correctly by Valet parkers prior to filing
Enter ticket and parker data into the computerized valet parking system
Maintain records of total cars parked and delivered by each Valet parker
Ensure that guest problems are handled in an effective and courteous manner
Ensure that appropriate service recovery measures are followed through to ensure guest satisfaction with our services and Team Members
Park and fully secure vehicles in approved lots or spaces when needed
Flexible and receptive to change in work environment and procedure
Participate in departmental and property-wide discussions, meetings, and service initiatives
Adhere to regulatory, departmental, and company policies/procedures in an ethical manner
Endorse the business objectives, ethics, and values of Caesars Entertainment in accordance with the Code of Commitment and Mission, Vision, and Values
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
A high school diploma or GED is required
Six months of money handling and electronic cash register experience is required
A valid driver’s license is required with no more than one (1) DUI conviction or three or more moving violations, three or more traffic citation convictions in the past 3 years (from date of conviction), or conviction for suspension or conviction for at-fault accident within the last 3 years required
Six months of computer experience is preferred
Six months of data entry experience is preferred
Six months of experience with bar-code scanning equipment is preferred
Six months of valet or transportation experience is preferred
Must demonstrate the following essential knowledge and skills:

Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently
Neat, professional appearance with excellent personal hygiene
Ability to excel in a self-directed environment

PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:
Must be able to stoop, bend, reach, kneel, twist and grip items
Must be able to stand for long periods of time
Must be able to maneuver to all areas of the casino and surrounding property
Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
Must be able to have exposure to outdoor weather situations
Must be able to tolerate areas containing varying noise and temperature levels, illumination, vibration, crowds, and air quality, including secondhand smoke
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
