Candidate must live in North or East Bay Area, CA with reliable transportation to travel around entire Bay Area and Napa frequently.

Job Summary:

The objective of the Trinchero Sales Internship is to gain hands-on experience in the field of sales. They work under the supervision of an experienced sales professional and are responsible for supporting the Trinchero sales team in various tasks such as working in the market, working with the distributor sales teams calling on accounts, building relationships with key customers, market analysis, and administrative tasks.

The Trinchero sales interns will learn the fundamentals of sales and gain a deeper understanding of the alcohol industry and the 3-tier system. Additionally, an internship with Trinchero can also provide an opportunity to develop important skills like communication, negotiation, and problem-solving. 

Essential Functions:

  • Supporting the Sales Team: Engaging in a wide array of tasks, including working in the field, calling on key customers, and execution.
  • Participating Actively: Joining sales calls, meetings, and presentations under the guidance of experienced sales professionals.
  • Assisting in Proposals: Playing a part in preparing sales proposals and presentations to engage potential clients.
  • Uncovering Opportunities: Conducting market research and reviewing data to identify sale trends and opportunities.
  • Maintaining Records: Keeping meticulous records of sales activities and customer interactions for future reference. KARMA
  • Database Management: Managing customer databases and ensuring customer information remains up-to-date KARMA.
  • Materials and Campaigns: Assisting in developing sales materials and contributing to marketing campaigns to help consumer pull.
  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Collaborating seamlessly with other departments, including marketing, and NRD.
  • Reporting and Presentations: Preparing reports and presentations to convey insights and recommendations to senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Currently enrolled at a college or university working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
  • Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong computer skills with a high proficiency on Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Excellent organizational and follow-up skills
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of larger teams

Working Conditions:

  • Hybrid work environment to include work from home, field and office
  • Frequent travel bar car
  • Ability to lift at least 45 pounds (case of wine)
  • Regular working schedule to include early mornings long days
  • Long and irregular hours during peak seasons and/or special events
  • Moderate to heavy physical work (moving wine cases and retail supplies, setting up for special events)
  • Valid drivers license and no major driving violations
  • Comply with company safety regulations

Salary Range: $23.00 -  $28.00  

The starting pay will be based on several factors, including but not limited to experience, training, education, and geographic location.
