Erwin Electric, Inc is currently seeking an Junior Electrical Estimator in the Tampa Bay Area.   This person will assist in various tasks related to electrical systems while maintaining industry standards while contributing to the execution of projects.   We offer:

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing accurate cost estimates for electrical projects
• Perform and validate electrical take-offs from drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate the input parameters for cost estimates.
• Assist in compiling information from all estimating disciplines into one cost estimate.
• Request and track pricing from vendors and subcontractors.
• Help prepare bid packages, proposals, and supporting documentation.
• Establish site-specific estimating criteria including wage and person-hour productivity rates.
• Provide innovative solutions for construction, estimating issues and problems.
• Review design documents such as specifications, change orders, and contract modifications

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of electrical construction methods.
• The ability to comprehend construction blueprints.
• Experience with Accubid or similar estimating software is highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
