The Part-Time Student Program is primarily designed to augment the Company’s regular full-time staff and is for students who work in parallel to their school schedule YEAR-ROUND.

Your Responsibilities

As a Part-Time Student PVV Lab Testing for JD Turf Care located in Fuquay Varina, NC, you will:

  • Execute test plan for product verification and validation.
  • Prepare tests or test stands in readiness for new tests.
  • Run activity tests under the direction and guidance of a senior engineer
  • Collect test data, operate equipment and review with lead engineer and report results in the Vision system 

This position is NOT available to students on immigration visas

What Skills You Need

  • Ideally, pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, others may apply
  • Must be registered as a full-time student at an accredited university/college
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Reading and interpreting engineering schematics
  • Demonstrated electrical aptitude
  • 16-20 hours/week during academic year
  • 35-40 hours/week during the summer semester
  • Graduation date of Spring 2027 or later
  • Sophomore status or higher; graduate studies also welcome 
  • Are you able to commute to the designated work location, Fuquay Varina, NC, on a regular/daily basis year-round. NOTE: Relocation assistance is not provided
