Job Description

Positions                     CAM Canyon Creative

Purpose within the organization:

  • The Design Department is seeking student workers to support our growing departments through a variety of tasks

Responsibilities related to purpose:

  • Office support for our adjunct faculty.
  • Peer to peer tutoring for students in DDN and ADV courses.
  • Oversight and support of our student clubs.
  • Design and production of marketing and communications products, including social media, posters and flyers, and photography.
  • Inventory control of supplies and materials for all classes.
  • Direct preparation of supplies and materials for our Sculpture classes.
  • Classroom support including organizing, cleaning, and materials preparation.
  • Meet with and tour prospective students through our program.
  • Assist in general departmental needs.

Equipment used and responsibility:

  • Computer
  • Copier
  • Paper Cutter

Qualifications:

  • The ideal candidate is a design student with skills in Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop, design, drawing, and typography, and Word, Excel and Powerpoint.. A person who can handle multiple tasks at one time; who can manage themselves and their schedule and can present a positive attitude while representing our department.

  • Enrolled at GCU as a full-time student in a Bachelor’s program or Master’s program. 
  • Retain a 2.0 GPA as a Bachelor level student or a 3.0 GPA as a Master level student.
  • Maintain good financial standing with the University.

You may be subject to termination if you fall below the minimum requirements. 

Pay Rate: Minimum Wage

Anticipated End Date: June 30, 2027
