Description

Emerald Site Services is looking for a motivated Driver/Erosion Control Technician to join our field crew. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working outdoors and is looking to build a career in the environmental and construction services industry. You will be responsible for transporting materials and assisting with the hands-on installation of erosion control systems. 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Driving & Delivery: Safely operate company vehicles (Class C) to transport materials, tools, and small equipment to and from job sites.
  • Hydroseeding Support: Assist with the setup and operation of hydroseeding equipment, including pulling hoses and managing mulch/seed loading.
  • Field Installation: Install erosion control measures such as silt fences, straw wattles, and erosion blankets.
  • Manual Labor: Use hand tools for digging, trenching, and securing site perimeters.
  • Site Maintenance: Ensure all work areas are kept clean and compliant with site-specific safety and environmental regulations.

  • License: Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to perform heavy physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs, and walking on steep or uneven terrain.
  • Outdoor Work: Comfort working outdoors in all weather conditions (heat, rain, etc.).
  • Teamwork: A positive attitude and the ability to follow directions from the Crew Lead or Foreman.
  • Experience: No prior experience required; we are willing to train candidates with a strong work ethic and a desire to learn the trade.

 Pay $20/hr
