Job Description

GrayWolf is seeking Spotter at our Cameron, LA project.

Summary: 

Qualified spotter for forklifts and moving equipment.

Essential Duties:  

  • Safety – work safely around the hazards associated with the Construction field.
  • Keep records of items entering or leaving the tool room
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance of tools and equipment
  • Inspect returned supplies for damage
  • Troubleshoot, maintain and make minor repairs to small tools as needed
  • Replace or fix worn or broken tool and equipment parts
  • Sort, organize, and mark items with identifying codes
  • Maintain levels of supplies to ensure maximum productivity of construction crews
  • Notify appropriate leadership of the need to order new supplies
  • Maintain inventories so that it can be located quickly and easily
  • Store materials in bins, on floors or on shelves
  • Lift, carry and hold building materials and supplies

Qualifications:  

  • One (1) year of supply/warehouse experience preferred
  • Must be able to successfully complete all required pre-hire requirements. 

Physical/Site Requirements: 

  • Lift and carry heavy items weighing up to 45 pounds.
  • Move in and around confined and cluttered places, and uneven areas. Full range of motion and flexibility consistent with age.
  • Work up to a 12-hour shift in varying temperature extremes and other outside conditions.
  • Climb and maintain balance on steel framework, stairs, ladders, and scaffolds.
  • Work at heights with fall protection, work from manlifts, baskets, JLG’s etc.
  • PPE footwear/prescription safety glasses or eye shields required.  

To be eligible for per diem, your permanent residence must be at least 60-miles from the site address and you must provide documentation as such.
