POSITION SUMMARY

Audit Third Party Originated (TPO) closed loans for compliance with MIG, regulatory and investor requirements within designated deadlines in our Knoxville Headquarters Office.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Review Third Party Originated (TPO) loans for accuracy and compliance for loan purchase and loan sale
  • Contact underwriting and TPO’s to obtain documentation as needed 
  • Participate in ongoing training and apply to review process as directed by Correspondent Lending processes and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Minimum Education

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required

Minimum Knowledge/Skills:

  • Knowledge of TILA-RESPA Integrated Disclosure (TRID)
  • o Demonstrated communication, customer service, and organizational skills
  • o Ability to work independently
  • o Ability to work at a fast pace and to meet frequent deadlines
  • o Ability to accept change to audit process
  • Knowledge of mortgage documents
  • Positive Attitude, willingness to be trained
  • Adhere to deadlines and focus on details
  • Keen organization skills, manage a pipeline of loans
  • Ability to work overtime
  • Proficiency in various computer software programs including Microsoft Office, database management and other business applications
  • Employees are expected to carry out all reasonable requests by managers/supervisors, which the employee can perform
  • Maintain equipment and supplies to avoid waste, damage to areas and equipment, and to prevent accidents
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee and company information
  • Record all hours worked accurately and honestly in the timekeeping system

Minimum Experience

  • 1-2 years’ experience in mortgage lending or Title Company preferred.

ANNUAL TRAINING

New hires must complete the following training courses:

  • BSM/AML: The Basics
  • Marketing Compliance
  • Annual Consumer Complaint Attestation 

Existing employees must complete the following training courses:

  • BSA and AML: Essentials
  • Annual Sexual Harassment Training

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to navigate throughout the building. Must be able to hear and communicate well. Must have good eye-hand coordination and finger movement for use in computer software programs.
