What You’ll Do:

  • Administers medications and treatments as ordered by the physician, and in accordance with current practice standards.
  • Assists residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), meal services, and other care needs as required.
  • Ensures restorative and rehabilitative care plans are performed and documented accurately.
  • Performs IV therapy and assists with admissions and discharges.
  • Assigns and directs nurse aides in providing resident care, maintaining a team-oriented approach.
  • Documents information in nurses’ records, care plans, and flow sheets as per regulation.
  • Ensures infection control practices and safety protocols are consistently followed.
  • Demonstrates clinical competence in nursing procedures, including interpreting vital signs and administering medications.
  • Communicates effectively with residents, families, and visitors, maintaining positive interpersonal relationships.
  • Participates in quality improvement activities and maintains current knowledge of regulatory standards.

Requirements

Qualifications You Bring:

  • Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program; current LPN license required.
  • Knowledge of long-term care regulations and geriatric resident needs preferred.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with residents, families, and staff.
  • Ability to read, write, and document reports and procedures accurately.
  • Team-oriented with flexibility and problem-solving skills.
  • Must hold a current Class C Pennsylvania Driver’s License.

Work Schedule: 

Full-Time: 3:00pm - 11:00pm

Part-Time 11:00pm-7:00am, every other weekend
