What You’ll Do

The Home Equity Post Closer is part of our talented Home Equity Closing team. This role will verify that all closed and funded loans contain all necessary documentation and meet all applicable requirements. The Post Closer works closely with teammates across departments, vendors, and credit union partners. This person will also have excellent organization and time management skills. This role plays an important part in providing best-in-class service to our members.

Core Contributions

  • Review executed closing package to clear for funding including but not limited to, Note, Mortgage/Deed of Trust, and other closing documentation.
  • Responsible for obtaining missing documents and requesting corrections to closing packages as necessary.
  • Coordinate and track the delivery of trailing documentation, to include recorded mortgage/deeds of trust.
  • Transfer imaged file to the electronic databases (iDentifi).
  • Prepare and send paper files for long term storage.
  • Review all signed loan documents for compliance with credit union standards for quality and accuracy.
  • Ensure all incoming mail is tracked and distributed in a timely manner.
  • Work in collaboration and partnership with other team members and departments.
  • Additional job-related projects and duties as assigned by management.

Assets You Will Bring 

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 1 year of relevant work experience in the finance industry; home lending experience preferred.

  • Knowledge of recent lending regulations preferred.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).

The estimated salary for this role is $21.78 to $25.59 per hour.
