Essential Job Functions

Expose students to science and manufacturing career paths
Build early STEM talent pipelines
Provide hands-on learning in quality systems, testing, and problem-solving
Quality Shadowing
Basic lab testing (under supervision)
Learn basics of Verification and Validation
Statistical Process Control - weight data collection and entry
Receiving and In-Process testing (pH, Moisture, Bulk Density, Water activity)
QC Bakeoffs (Mixing and preparing, testing finished products)
Quality checks in other departments
Participates in Team environment offering input and suggestions to improve the overall performance of the department and company.
Strives to maintain goals and objectives as developed by the company or manager.

Important Other Skills/Abilities

Strong Communication skills, written & verbal.
HS Juniors/ Seniors
Works well in a team environment or independently.
Strong computer skills, including MS Office knowledge.
Self-motivated; works well with minimal supervision.
Eligible to work in the United States.

Physical Demand Characteristics:

Light – Lifts 10 lbs. or less frequently.
Lifts 25 lbs. occasionally.
Walks and/or stands most of the day.
Bends and stoops frequently.
Reaches overhead and stoops frequently.
May push/pull.
Ability to comply with safety requirements (PPE, plant polices)
