Position Overview:

Premium Production is seeking a Quality Control Lab Technician to join our growing team. You will be responsible for ensuring that all raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods meet our rigorous quality standards and FDA regulations.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses strong analytical skills, and values clear communication to maintain a cohesive and high-trust team environment.

What You’ll Do:

  • Perform and record results for particle size analysis, sensory testing, moisture analysis, and AQL standards.

  • Analyze incoming raw materials to ensure they align with client specifications.

  • Strictly follow SOPs, GLP, and cGMP (21 CFR Part 111) guidelines. 

  • Maintain accurate digital records in Google Workspace.

  • Perform daily calibrations and routine maintenance on scales and analytical equipment.

  • Work closely with production and Quality Assurance to communicate test results and deviations; coordinate with 3rd-party labs for external testing.


What we’re looking for:

  • High school diploma or GED 

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Food Science, or related field of study preferred 

  • Lab certification, or equivalent lab experience; or working on a degreed program, or relevant lab experience preferred

  • Ability to follow written standard operating procedures (SOPs) precisely and consistently.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate documentation

  • Basic math proficiency (ability to perform weight calculations, unit conversions, and simple percentages)

  • Basic computer proficiency, including Google Workspace, AI software, and email communication

  • Ability to work in a cGMP-regulated environment and adhere to cleanliness and contamination control requirements

  • Ability to lift to 50 lbs and perform physical sampling duties (standing for extended periods, handling raw materials, pallets, and containers)

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Reliable attendance and ability to work independently in a small team environment

Pay: Hourly, $20.50 - $22.50

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
