Job Description

By leveraging over five decades of manufacturing expertise and employing an extensive technologies portfolio, we design, manufacture, and finish incomparable stock and customized solutions for numerous markets.   Location:         Newark, Ohio        Department:    Warehouse Reports to:      Warehouse Manager Shift:                2nd Shift: Monday - Friday, 3 pm - 11:30pm Pay:                  $18.00/hr   _____________________________________________________________________________ JOB SUMMARY This role is responsible for making sure that all production areas have the materials that they need, when they need them and in the amount, they need. They are also responsible for keeping our inventory accurate by making inventory moves in the system and completing cycle counts as needed.   ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Monitor and process workflow through operations:
  1. Initiating transfer orders.
  2. Verify all incoming parts are properly bar coded, tagged, and scanned to the correct location.
  3. Assist with inventory moves from plant to off-site warehouse locations.
  • Inventory Accuracy
    1. Track movement of parts, including control lots, through all operations within the facility. 
    2. Monitor accuracy of inventory moves in SyteLine from receiving, anodizing, assembly, and any hold or inspection materials. 
    3. Staging or other warehouse materials ensure proper raw product is staged and production lines are stocked with the current day’s production needs. 
    4. Research and resolve any/all negative inventory issues. 
    5. Review and report any discrepancies to Logistics Manager. 
  • Assist with any other duties and projects as required by Plant or Warehouse Supervisor.
  • Assist with all physical inventories on or offsite. 
  QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience with forklift and/ or cherry picker
  • Strong basic math skills
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Ability to lift 30 lbs. or more
  • Basic computer skills and ability to fill out daily paperwork
  • Warehouse experience
  • Ability to stand or walk for a lengthy amount of time
