    High School Diploma Must be enrolled full-time in college or university with a GPA of 3.0 or better, graduate status 
     


JOB DUTIES

  • Studying the role of the immune system in brain tumors and developing novel immunotherapies for brain tumors. 
  • Will use a variety of techniques that will assist with including mouse handling, surgery, immunohistochemistry, flow cytometry. -
  • Assembles and operates various laboratory equipment and apparatuses. 
  • Cell culture of brain tumor and immune cell cultures. 
  • Protein electrophoresis, PCR.
  • Cares of animal colony, helps with and performs mouse surgeries. 
  • Collaborates with cores that aid with specimen analysis. 
  • Completes lab management tasks. 
  • Records resulting data in accordance with established methods. Confers with supervisor concerning results obtained and modifies procedures in accordance with instruction of supervisor. 
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
