Job Overview Summary 

This role supports the Business Analytics and Reporting function as part of Data Sciences: Analytics & Reporting team at Advarra.  The goal of the Business Analytics team is to provide data analytics that help the decision-making process and resource allocation within the business goals and budget.  

This position will support Advarra in meeting objectives, creating, and maintaining deliverables, understanding data, ad-hoc analysis. The position must be able to understand business, system, and technical issues, and facilitate problem solving and issue resolution. To be successful, the incumbent will need to exhibit keen attention to detail while remaining aware of broader objectives. Additionally, the role will need to exhibit excellent analytical acumen and documentation skills, an ability to prioritize multiple timelines and competing goals. 

Job Duties & Responsibilities 

• Follow and adhere to Business Analytics SOPs and SLAs 

• Develop key BA skills: elicit requirements on multiple projects utilizing interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, survey, business process descriptions, use cases, business analysis, task and workflow analysis. 

• Create and maintain interactive dashboards with Tableau 

• Exhibit a strong customer-centered mindset  

• Support team accountability for promised deliverables, project progress, successes, and failures 

• Share insights with peers and colleagues 

• Escalate issues and risks for customer impact from data challenges 

Location  

This role is open to candidates working in the United States 

Basic Qualifications  

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Science or related area or experience 

• 0-2 years of experience in Business Analytics  

Preferred Qualifications 

• Tableau experience  

• SQL Experience  

Physical and Mental Requirements 

• Sit or stand for extended periods of time at stationary workstation 

• Regularly carry, raise, and lower objects of up to 10 Lbs.  

• Learn and comprehend basic instructions 

• Focus and attention to tasks and responsibilities 

• Verbal communication; listening and understanding, responding, and speaking

The base salary range for this role is $62,377 - $82,649. Note that salary may vary based on location, skills, and experience and may vary from the amounts listed above. This position may also be eligible for a variable bonus in addition to base salary as well as health coverage, paid holidays, and other benefits.
