Job Description:
Position Summary: The Financial Analyst, with 0-2 years of experience, will play a crucial role in our finance department, assisting in the development, analysis, and interpretation of financial information to support strategic decision-making within the organization. This role will involve working with cross-functional teams to ensure the financial stability and growth of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Analysis and Reporting:
Prepare and analyze financial reports, including budget vs. actual performance, variance analysis, and forecasts.
Create insightful financial models to aid in strategic planning and decision-making.
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
Collaborate with department heads to develop and maintain annual budgets.
Assist in the forecasting process to provide accurate, data-driven insights.
Identify and communicate budget variances and potential cost-saving opportunities.
Data Analysis:
Conduct ad-hoc data analysis to support business initiatives.
Extract and manipulate financial data to identify trends and opportunities.
Present findings and recommendations to the finance team and senior management.
Business Partnership:
Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their financial needs.
Provide financial insights and guidance to support departmental goals and objectives.
Communicate financial information in a clear and concise manner to non-finance stakeholders.
Process Improvement:
Identify areas for process improvement within the FP&A function.
Implement best practices to streamline financial reporting and analysis.
Help enhance the accuracy and efficiency of financial processes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
0-2 years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or related roles.
Strong proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and Microsoft Excel.
Knowledge of financial software and tools (e.g., ERP systems).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and data integrity.
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced proficiency in financial software such as QuickBooks, Oracle, SAP, or similar systems.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, CMA, CPA).
Experience with FP&A software (Vena) is a plus.
Experience in the pest control or home services sector.
Creating sales forecasts and working with statistical data.
Previous exposure to working with senior management teams.
