What You'll Do:

• Monitor Systems: Oversee alarms, fire and security systems, access control, CCTV, CJIS Terminal, CLETS, and more.
• Incident Tracking: Track and record all incidents with a chronological listing.
• Emergency Coordination: Maintain communication with local and county dispatch centers, request mutual aid resources, and notify affected jurisdictions of events.
• Operate 911 Systems: Handle 911 emergency calls and the Telephone Device for the Deaf (TDD).
• Flexible Hours: Be available for flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, and remain on call for emergency duty.
• Other Duties: As assigned.

• What We're Looking For:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Certifications: ICS-100, ICS-200, NIMS IS-700, POST Basic Dispatch Academy), and First Aid/CPR or BLS certification required prior to appointment
  • Skills: Knowledge of standard office practices, report preparation, and emergency communication systems. Proficient with computers and MS Office applications.
  • Requirements: Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license and be able to obtain a DoD security clearance. Must have no record or history of illegal drug use, sale, possession, or manufacture during the previous five years.
