The Yard Employee will be responsible for the daily activities in the yard such as receiving and stocking product, driving a forklift and loading trucks for delivery.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Receive and stock commodity merchandise.
• Manually gather materials for delivery orders while maintaining accuracy.
• Accurately verify product/quantities and load delivery trucks.
• Assist customers with materials being picked up or dropped off at the yard.
• Safely operate hand power tools and forklifts.
• Unload vendor trucks and check in product.
• Assist in inventory cycle counts.
• Accompany and assist drivers with occasional deliveries.
• Complete maintenance on trucks, buildings and grounds.
• Maintain cleanliness of yard and warehouse.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Frequent standing and may involve walking short distances and climbing stairs.
• Occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Exposed to altered climate conditions when in warehouse or yard.
