Job DetailsJob Location: Century Upholstery Plant 2 - Hickory, NC 28601Position Type: Full TimeTravel Percentage: NoneJob Shift: DaySummary Job Description This position is responsible for stocking, pulling, stacking, transporting parts as needed for assigned areas Essential Duties Operate a handheld scanner to scan product Organize and maintain bins to keep accurate inventories Help unload trucks as needed May break down cardboard boxes and operate baler Must be able to move specific product to work areas in a timely manner May be required to pull up patterns and forms (computer use) based on assigned area Ability to learn to identify and measure different types of stock Rotate stock- FIFO (first in first out), as appropriate Must be self-motivated with little supervision QualificationsPosition Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred Previous material handling experience a plus Physical Requirements The physical demands and work environment expectations described below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
