Position Facility: Meadowside

Position Overview

Pay Range: $26.55/hr - $27.59/hr + $1.50 Shift Premium
Hours: 2:20pm - 11:30pm; Monday – Friday (Overtime as production demands)

Responsibilities

•    Consistently manufacture “great tasting” sausage products according to specifications
•    Work together with other Packaging Members to obtain World Class packaging results in safety, yields, usages, and efficiencies
•    Learn and be part of developing and enhancing new technology in the packaging department
•    Develop a strong set of world class skills in the area of packaging 
•    Actively participate in daily Grill meetings and project teams
•    Set goals and objectives; both personal and as a team member to acquire "superlative" performance in order to support the Johnsonville Way
•    Grow, develop, and stretch yourself by continuing to find new and better ways to meet your commitments to yourself, your team and to JVL.
•    Packaging sausage on production line
•    Carrying tubs of sausage
•    Lifting and moving boxes to pallets and moving pallets
•    Inspection of finished product

Skills

•    Strong written and verbal communication skills required
•    Strong math background is required
•    Must be able to complete production documentation paperwork accurately
•    Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds
•    Must be able to maintain all GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices)    
•    Must be able to actively participate in a team environment
•    Basic computer skills needed
•    Based on business necessity, must be proficient in English.

Other Requirements

•    Must be at least 18 years old
•    Ability to pass a pre-employment, post offer drug screen, physical and background check
