Role Summary

Ourisman Automotive Group is seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Sales Associate to join our team. The Sales Associate will be responsible for assisting customers with their vehicle purchases, providing product information, and ensuring a positive buying experience.

More about the role

  • Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, addressing their needs and providing information about vehicles and services.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the dealership's vehicle inventory, including features, specifications, and pricing, to effectively answer customer questions and make recommendations.
  • Guide customers through the sales process, from vehicle selection and test drives to financing and closing the sale.
  • Follow up with potential customers and leads to nurture relationships and encourage sales.
  • Meet or exceed individual sales targets and contribute to the overall sales performance of the dealership.
  • Prepare and process sales contracts, financing applications, and other required documentation accurately and efficiently.
  • Assist in maintaining the appearance and organization of the showroom and lot, ensuring vehicles are clean and properly displayed.
  • Address and resolve customer concerns or issues in a timely and professional manner to ensure high levels of satisfaction.

What we look for

  • Previous sales experience is preferred, but not required. Experience in the automotive industry is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and understand their needs.
  • A commitment to providing exceptional customer service and creating a positive buying experience.
  • Basic understanding of sales principles and techniques, with a willingness to learn and apply new skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and experience with dealership management software is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
