Overview

Thompson Hospitality is hiring a receptionist. This position plays a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, managing administrative tasks, and maintaining a professional and organized front desk environment. Your friendly demeanor, strong communication skills, and organizational abilities will contribute to creating a positive and welcoming experience for all visitors.


Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and courteous manner
  • Answer incoming calls, transfer them to the appropriate departments, or take messages as needed
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry and filing
  • Coordinate appointments and meetings as requested
  • Provide general administrative support to various departments as needed

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail
  • Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role is a plus
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Professional demeanor and customer service-oriented approach.
  • Primarily works in an office environment or hybrid/remote setting, depending on the organization.
