The CNA school provides practical work experience for clinical students in an environment that emphasizes patient-centered care.

CNA School Details:

The class will take place on Day Shift (Monday through Friday)
3 weeks long: hours are 7am-3:30pm
Core Function: Nursing support
Class runs June 8-June 23rd.
Paid internship
There is a 1-year commitment that comes with the paid CNA training. Candidate will have to work 16 hours per week for 1 year. Students sign a contract when they start the program
Attendance everyday is mandatory, no exceptions.
After completion of the program, along with passing certification tests, and meeting HSHS’s onboarding requirements - will be employed as a Patient Care Assistant within HSHS Division
Application deadline is April 28th.

Education Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Experience Qualifications

1-2 years of healthcare experience is preferred.

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations

Basic Life Support (BLS) is required within 30-days of employment.
Must be actively working toward certification/licensure in field of practice.
