Maine Veterans’ Homes is an independent nonprofit organization dedicated to serving Maine’s veterans and families. We are seeking energetic individuals to join our 5-star dietary team as a Food Service Worker. The Food Service Worker is responsible for prepping, serving, stocking, set up and clean up for meals and after meals. Completes all sanitation tasks as required.

Shift:

40 hours per week, 10:00am-6:30pm, including every other weekend.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in food service preferred
  • Requires proficiency in spoken and written English.
  • Ability to understand and respond to residents’ needs and inquiries in English is required.
  • Ability to effectively understand and communicate verbally and in writing, in English, is required.
  • Basic computer skills
