What will you do as a Administrative Assistant?


The Administrative Assistant’s primary purpose is to serve as a support for a variety of programmatic needs to one or 

multiple programs at Thompson.

As Administrative Assistant you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Display individual proficiency and effectiveness in the role.
  • Be punctual, arrive on time, and prepared.
  • Learn and utilize the organization’s systems, processes and procedures as instructed. 
  • Display a high degree of being open to coaching/feedback regarding performance and areas of improvement.
  • Contribute to a positive team culture through your actions, attitude, and communication 
  • Consistently deliver excellent customer service to your clients/customers. 
  • Conduct yourself in the highest standards of ethics and integrity while displaying emotional intelligence in your day-to-day  work with customers, peers, and leadership.
  • Represent the organization internally and externally through your communication and conduct.
  • Display trauma informed practices and principles in your interactions with customers, with peers and with leadership.
  • Provide general operational support to their assigned programs/campus.
  • Greet new and existing customers with enthusiasm and excellent customer service.
  • Manage phone traffic efficiently and effectively. 
  • Order supplies for campus as needed.
  • Submit helpdesk tickets on behalf of campus needs.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Associate degree or Certification in related field.
  • A minimum of 1 year of relevant professional experience.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Exceptional customer service mentality.
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License and meet any credentialing, licensing and privileging standards as it pertains to the program
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite application software, excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to come into office at least 3 days per week
