Position Description:
Opportunity Finance Network (OFN) is currently seeking law student applicants for its summer intern program. The Law Clerk/Legal Intern (“Legal Intern”) will assist the EVP-General Counsel by conducting legal research, reviewing documents, and writing memoranda on a range of topics, including non-profit law, federal regulations, and court decisions. Successful applicants can expect an educational focus in their assignments and will leave the internship with increased knowledge of non-profits, community development financial institutions, and with a writing sample that they can use after the internship ends.
The internship will last 6-8 weeks during the summer term (between May 25th and August 14th). This position is part time with an expectation of 25-35 hours weekly. OFN will consider 4-week internships for any law student splitting time with another summer internship.
