Job Description

Vitrolife is seeking a motivated Embryologist Intern to support quality control and research activities within our Mouse Embryo Assay (MEA) laboratory. This internship provides hands-on experience in embryo culture, assay testing, and regulated laboratory operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with routine mouse embryo assays (MEA)

  • Support embryo culture, morphological assessment, and media development projects

  • Troubleshoot and help maintain sensitive culture systems

  • Perform general laboratory duties and maintain accurate documentation

  • Adhere to GLP, SOPs, and internal quality and regulatory standards

What You’ll Learn:

  • Fundamentals of embryo culture and IVF-related quality testing

  • Application of MEA in raw material and finished goods quality control

  • Operation of laboratory systems within a regulated environment

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Biology, Zoology, Animal Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • Minimum 1 year of embryo or cell culture laboratory experience required

  • Strong communication skills and basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
