Job DetailsJob Location: Werk Brau 2500 - Findlay, OH 45839Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $23.00 - $28.00 HourlyJob Category: Human ResourcesSummary / Objective The Recruiter plays a key role in HR and talent acquisition, providing support in recruitment, onboarding, payroll backup, and general HR administration under direct supervision. Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Serves as backup for processing payroll for hourly employees, ensuring accurate documentation and proper deductions. Performs customer service functions by responding to employee questions and requests. Reviews applications and assists with the interview process, including scheduling and conducting initial pre-screening. Posts job openings on the company platform, external job boards, and social media. Represents Werk-Brau at job fairs and recruiting events. Coordinates pre-employment physicals and drug screenings. Assists in coordinating and facilitating the new-hire orientation process. Prepares new employee files. Tracks recruiting metrics and provides regular updates to management. Performs clerical tasks such as photocopying, mailing, scanning, and emailing documents. Files documents into appropriate employee files. Assists with preparing HR correspondence as requested. Competencies Strong communication and people skills. Critical evaluation. Ability to promote the organization’s culture and values to prospective candidates. Experience in recruiting or HR (manufacturing or skilled trades preferred). Ability to evaluate technical skills and understand job requirements. Strong organizational and time-management skills. QualificationsRequired Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent experience Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) SHRM-CP or PHR certification (preferred) One year of recruiting experience (preferred) Position Type / Expected Hours of Work Full-time, In-person Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Travel Occasional travel to job fairs or recruiting events.
