Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Pet Groomer to join our team. The ideal candidate is dependable, skilled, able to work independently, and truly enjoys working with animals while providing high-quality grooming services in a friendly, supportive setting.
Our upstairs grooming suite is set up for a single groomer, providing a private and comfortable space you can make your own. We have all fairly new equipment including an electric, super-low grooming table, a bathtub with pet stairs, a high velocity dryer, two kennels, a tool chest to keep your grooming tools, as well as a mini-fridge and TV for your convenience.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional grooming services including bathing, drying, brushing, hair cutting/trimming, nail clipping, anal gland expression, and ear cleaning
• Handle pets safely and gently, ensuring their comfort at all times
• Communicate clearly with pet parents about grooming needs and preferences
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary grooming workspace
• Observe pet health and report any concerns to owners

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of professional pet grooming experience
• Ability to groom dogs of various sizes, breeds, and temperaments
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
• Genuine love for animals and customer service

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of grooming experience
• Grooming certification
• Ability to groom cats

Compensation

• 50% commission, plus tips
• Steady clientele and supportive environment
• Free daycare/boarding for your own dog(s) as long as they are dog-friendly
