The opportunity:

We're hiring a DIDO (Drive In / Drive Out) Administrator from Mackay, Emerald, Rockhampton, Gladstone and the surrounding areas on a fulltime 14 days on, 7 days off roster at our sites in regional Queensland (candidates from outside these areas WILL NOT be considered).

  • Competitive Annual Wage: $80,000 - $100,000

About the Role:

The Administrator is to assist in all front of house administration/reception and finance administration as required in a safe and efficient manner while providing a high quality service to guests. This role is the first "Face of the Village" and must maintain a friendly, efficient and approachable manner at all times.
  • Ensure professionalism and accuracy with all information passed through reception to staff and management.
  • Achieve an accurate and logical work sequence.
  • Ensure messages are accurate and passed on promptly.
  • Provide business centre services as required, for each of the division.
  • Positively respond to all queries (both internal and external), redirect to departments as required.
  • Run and actively participate in weekly Administration/Front Office meetings respecting the confidentiality of issues, which may be discussed formally or informally.
  • Assist in the smooth and efficient day-to-day operation.
  • Assist in all guest arrivals and departures ensuring that room allocations and check in/check out processes.
  • Regular liaison with Maintenance ensuring maintenance requests are completed quickly focusing on guest needs as a priority.
  • Assist in the preparation of Front Office monthly reports, commenting on key performance indicators.
  • Liaise with Housekeeping to ensure room cleanliness standards are maintained while meeting productivity goals.
  • Ensure public areas are clean and well presented with regular monitoring.
  • Ensure there is a constant presence visible on Front Desk during key times throughout the day. 

To be considered:

  • Essential - Current Australian Drivers Licence & your own reliable transport.
  • Essential - Ability to commute from your home to our site in regional Queensland.
  • Previous experience in administration roles will be highly regarded.
  • Strong Customer Service ethic & skills
  • Microsoft Office application skills, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint 
  • Police Clearance or willing to obtain one & medically fit to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen.
