Job Description

FoodScience in Williston, VT is looking to hire full-time a QC Inspector—no prior experience is needed, as we provide on-the-job training for this position. Would you like to join a company with a great culture, competitive benefits, and a supportive team? You might be the perfect fit.

The QC Inspector position starts at $20/hour with opportunities to grow. Hours are 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday – Friday. FoodScience offers 9 paid holidays per year—including your birthday!—one paid week off during our yearly plant shutdown, and a competitive Paid Time Off (PTO) program that starts to accrue immediately. WHAT YOU’LL DO HERE

Step into the shoes of a QC Inspector, where your mission is to ensure top-notch quality on our production lines! Get ready to dive into internal audits and give the green light to incoming components. You'll also help keep tabs on labels and pouches with cycle counts. Plus, you'll become a pro in our Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), master Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), and rock the Safe Quality Foods (SQF) Guidelines. QUALIFICATIONS FOR A QC INSPECTOR

Previous quality control experience is preferred but not required as you will be trained on the job. That being said, there are some requirements that make a good QC Inspector a great QC Inspector:

  • You must be hard-working and dependable.
  • You must be able to understand and properly complete necessary paperwork associated with quality control.
  • You must be able to compare numbers accurately to complete line checks.
