Events Assistant
Location: Houston, TX 
Salary: $30 – $33 per hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and enthusiastic Events Assistant to join our dynamic events team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of a wide range of events, from corporate conferences and trade shows to social gatherings and community programs.  

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the planning and organization of events from conception through to completion.
• Coordinate logistics including venue selection, catering, transportation, and equipment setup.
• Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth event operations.
• Support marketing efforts related to events, including social media updates and promotional materials.
• Prepare event materials such as programs, badges, and signage.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in event planning or coordination is preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively under tight deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with event management software.
