Job Description

Sika is looking for a Sample Lab Technician to join its growing team in Shakopee, MN.  This position supports the application and testing of Sika products and systems. This hands‑on role involves material preparation, following data guides, and maintaining a safe and organized workspace.

• Cut, sand, and prepare a variety of materials
• Apply products according to material data guides
• Track material usage and report low inventory
• Safely use carpentry and hand tools
• Maintain a clean work environment and follow PPE requirements.  On‑the‑job training and required PPE provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Basic math skills
• Ability to stand for long periods
• Ability to lift 65+ lbs
• Willing to shave facial hair to wear a half‑face respirator
• Comfortable with strong, non‑hazardous odors
• Ability to work independently and on a team
• Experience in carpentry, masonry, adhesives, waterproofing, flooring, concrete repair, façade systems, or coatings (preferred)
• Basic Microsoft Office knowledge (preferred)
