Qualifications

You will perform complete decontamination and processing of reusable instrumentation and patient care equipment, ensuring knowledge of aseptic technique. You are expected to have a High School Graduate or Equivalent education and maintain annual continuing education hours. Experience in instrument processing is preferred, and you must hold a Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) or Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT) credential.

Complies with departmental policies, abides by sanitation, safety, housekeeping and infection control. Observes and reports any unusual conditions. Participates in product recalls. Provides effective and immediate response to customer requests.

Riddle Hospital: Full-time: 3:00pm - 11:30pm

Bryn Mawr Hospital: Full-time: 3:00pm - 11:30pm
 

Experience:
Experience in instrument processing is preferred



Education:
High School Graduate or Equivalent

Must complete 10 hours of qualifying continuing education annually.

Licensures/Certifications:
Certified registered central service technician credential (CRCST) or certified sterile processing and distribution technician credential (CSPDT), required.
