Responsibilities
The Program Counselor provides face-to-face rehabilitative services and maintains a therapeutic environment for participants at the YCC. They are responsible for facilitating groups, presenting curriculum, and advocating for participants while tracking attendance and data.
Qualifications
You have at least one year of experience in counseling, mentoring, or teaching offenders, or a Bachelor's degree in counseling. You are expected to become AOD certified within five years of your registration date. You will be responsible for providing face-to-face rehabilitative programming and supporting participants in achieving their goals while maintaining accountability.
