ABOUT US:

Murkez Technologies is an established global managed services firm with operations in the United States, Pakistan, and Kuwait. With over a decade of experience supporting leading US retail and financial clients, we are now expanding into Puerto Rico to build a long-term US-based delivery center. Join our founding San Juan team as we scale our newest operation.

POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Loss Prevention Analyst to join our San Juan operations center supporting a major US retail client. This is an office-based analytical role — not a security guard position. You will conduct biannual virtual audits of over 2,000 US retail locations, monitor live camera feeds for incidents, support investigations, and provide insights to our client's Loss Prevention leadership team based on the US mainland. No field work, no in-store presence, no physical confrontation.

This role is ideal for analytical professionals from Customer Service, Quality Assurance, or BPO backgrounds who want to move into office-based audit and investigative work with a stable US employer.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct virtual audits of 2,000+ retail stores biannually — the core focus of this role

• Perform daily camera audits for randomly selected stores

• Verify Incident Reports and Video Requests through camera review

• Support investigations assigned by onshore Loss Prevention managers

• Monitor open safe alerts, trackers, and alarm notifications — escalate immediately to leadership

• Add incident management cases to the client's tracking portal

• Maintain accuracy and excellence in reporting; meet all deadlines

• Attend daily, weekly, and monthly team meetings (virtually with onshore team)

• Provide insights and recommendations to leadership based on audit findings

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen store compliance and reduce risks

• Perform additional analytical or operational tasks as assigned

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Proficiency in Excel, MS Office, and Outlook

• Excellent listening and observation skills

• Strong written and verbal communication in English

• Quality-focused mindset with strong follow-through

• Ability to multi-task across multiple stores and alert types

• Objectivity and sound judgment

• Dependability and reliability

• Comfortable using computers, multiple monitors, and software systems

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor's degree (any field)

• Recent graduates encouraged to apply

• Background in Customer Service, Quality Assurance, or BPO operations highly preferred

• Candidates transitioning from contact center roles into analytical/audit work strongly welcomed

• Knowledge of loss prevention processes, audit methodologies, or compliance standards is a plus

• Experience with camera software or surveillance systems is a plus, but training will be provided

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS:

• Fluency in English (required) — daily collaboration with US-based managers

• Spanish proficiency is a plus

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must currently reside in Puerto Rico

• Authorized to work in the United States

• Available to work scheduled shifts including some weekends and evenings

WHAT WE OFFER:

• Office-based analytical work in modern San Juan facility

• Direct collaboration with US-based Loss Prevention leadership team

• Paid training program on camera systems and audit methodology

• Signing bonus, paid in three installments:

   • Day 30 (first full paycheck)

   • 90-day performance milestone

   • 1 year anniversary

• Career growth path into senior analyst, team lead, and supervisor roles

• Health, dental, and vision insurance

• Paid vacation and sick time

• Christmas bonus per Puerto Rico law (13th month)

• Career exposure to a global team across the US, Pakistan, and Kuwait

• Stable global employer with established operations in the US, Pakistan, and Kuwait — building a long-term presence in Puerto Rico
