Responsibilities
The Medical Assistant will assist physicians and practitioners with routine clinical tasks such as blood draws, vital signs, and immunizations. They are responsible for maintaining smooth patient flow and anticipating the needs of both patients and healthcare providers.
Qualifications
You will assist physicians and practitioners with routine medical procedures, document patient care, and maintain patient flow. You should have a background in medical procedures and terminology, and ideally one year of experience. A certification from an approved Medical Assistant program is required.

Position: Medical Assistant
Shift: Day Shift, Full-Time, varying shifts depending on hours of operation. Weekend requirement.
Experience:
1. Proficient in medical procedures and medical terminology required.
2. One year experience preferred.
3. Knowledge of personal computer and relevant software applications preferred.
4. Knowledge of third party payors preferred.
Education:
Graduate of an approved Medical Assistant Program.
Licensures/Certifications:
Medical Assistant Certification Preferred
All Main Line Health Care Medical Assistants are required to have their BLS for Healthcare Providers at time of hire or within 30 days of start date.
This position requires you to wear a respirator as part of the job requirement.
