Production Worker - Mig Welder/ Fabricator

LSA Status: Non-exempt

Summary Under General supervision, work on the production line to build manufactured housing, as part of a team, and perform quality work at a fast moving and consistent manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Performs all manual labor in the area to which assigned.
  • Keeps area neat and clean.
  • Read and use a tape measure.
  • Read blueprints and orders.
  • Communicate well with coworkers.
  • Use hand tools, air tools, grinders, metal cutting tools.

  • Must have a strong work ethic.
  • Must have the ability to work quickly and methodically.
  • Must understand safety procedures.
  • Must have good teamwork skills.
  • Must live the Campion Operation Principals

Qualifications

  • Mig Welding experience required.
  • Fabrication/design skills/experience required.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing/modular housing preferred but not required.
  • Metal prep and paint experience recommended but not required.
