Responsibilities
The Monitor Technician is responsible for observing cardiac monitors to identify and interpret EKG rhythms and dysrhythmias. They must report all findings accurately and completely to the nursing staff to assist in patient care delivery.
Qualifications
You have experience as a monitor technician, with a high school diploma or GED equivalent. You are proficient in observing cardiac monitors, identifying EKG rhythms and dysrhythmias, and reporting changes to nursing staff. A technical cardiovascular program completion and Monitor Technician certification are preferred.

- 36 Hours Per Week, Day Shift (7:00 am – 7:30 pm)
Bryn Mawr Hospital
- 36 Hours per Week, Night Shift (7:00 pm – 7:30 am)
- 2/4 Weekend Program, Night Shift
- 2/4 Weekend Program, Day Shift
Position: Monitor Technician
Shift: Various – See Above (12 hour shifts/36 Hours per week, with every 3rd weekend rotation)
Experience:
One year of experience as a monitor technician preferred.
Education:
1. High School or GED equivalent.
2. Preferred completion of technical cardiovascular program.
Licensures/Certifications:
Preferred certification as a Monitor Technician.
