Responsibilities
Researches, tests, debugs, documents, releases, installs, and supports any system supported by information systems.
Provides leadership, guidance, and training to other staff. Displays creative thinking and resolves problems.
Works with business systems staff, vendors, and users to find the best technological means to meet business needs. Keeps abreast of current and new technologies and serves as a resource to other technical staff.
Develops specifications and conducts research with the assistance of business systems staff, vendors, and users to design, create, develop, or enhance computer applications. Prepares the required documents in accordance with information systems programming standards, policies, and procedures.
Participates in project teams, special projects, and other tasks as assigned by director or designated team leader. Accomplishes goals and objectives within set deadlines.
Provides positive customer relations across the range of Information Systems/ERP activities including support services, UMMC business units, and vendors. Promotes corporate integrity through compliance with the UMMC corporate compliance program.
