Job Description

Processing Specialist II

Process insurance or membership related documents involving general problem resolution, communication or similar situations which require a thorough knowledge of work processes, policies, procedures, systems and the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Process work requiring review, correction, completion, coding, calculations, reconciliation, data entry or filing.

  • Identify and correct errors in accuracy, completeness, or authorization.

  • Initiate transactions which result in monetary, coverage, and entitlement changes.

  • Enter and retrieve data on computer terminals and may utilize automated systems.

  • Answer or make telephone, written, or in person inquiries, receiving or providing information and resolving routine problems.

  • Coordinate regular work or problem solving activities with other areas as needed.

  • Protect the confidentiality of information.


Qualifications

  • High School GED

  • 1-3 years Business transaction processing.
