Expected pay for this position is $18.98 - $22.34/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an Hourly position.

UNIT OVERVIEW:
Welcome to Acute Care G200! G200 is a general med/surg unit that cares for acutely ill adult patients with a few surgical patients. Our patient care experience includes, but is not limited to, patients with hypertension/high blood pressure, pneumonia, chest pain, UTI's, COVID, and infections that require IV antibiotics. Our unit thrives on Teamwork and serving with the greatest care and love.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Patient Care Technician/Certified Nursing Assistant (PCT/CNA) provides appropriate safe basic care to patients which includes taking vital signs, assisting patients with activities of daily living, specimen collection, and observation of patients for physical/emotional changes. Other duties include recording pertinent information in patient charts, communicating with other Patient Care Team members to ensure continuity of care, and may function in a role providing constant supervision to patients as needed. Duties may vary according to department expectations and needs.
