We are currently seeking a Medication Technician to join our team at Peak Resources (facility name).

Typical Work Schedule is: 7am-3pm & 3pm-11pm 

Full-time, Part-time and various shifts may be available. Full-time positions include benefits such as health, dental, vision, life insurance, Paid time off (PTO), and 401(k) retirement plan. 

Role Responsibilities

A Medication Technician assists in the administering of medications to assisted living residents as ordered by the attending physician, under the direction of the attending physician, the nurse supervisor or charge nurse, and the Director of Nursing Services. The administration of medications shall be in accordance with established nursing standards, the policies, procedures, and practices of this facility, and the requirements of this state.

Requirements

Required Skills, Education, Licensure, and/or Certifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Current, unencumbered, certification as a Nursing Assistant in this State
  • Current, unencumbered, certification as a Medication Technician in this State
  • Must possess a current CPR BLS certification that includes in-person skills assessment 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of other individuals in the workplace
