Job Description

We are looking for a professional and organized Call Center Coordinator to join our team. You will serve as the primary communication hub, managing phone interactions. This position assesses the needs of prospective patients and phone callers, ensuring referral to the service or resource that best addresses their needs. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional service, resolve complex issues, and ensure a seamless experience for our callers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responds to telephone inquiries from persons seeking mental health care or information about mental health-related services.
  • Conducts crisis assessment and planning with clients
  • Assesses client’s emotional state and mental health
  • Performs risk assessments to determine client’s risk of harm to self and others.
  • Assesses need for community outreach (911)
  • Makes appointments for assessment at Desert Parkway
  • Makes referrals to community partners when appropriate
  • Completes Call Inquiry Sheet and file appropriately
  • Enters appointments and notes in AIS promptly
  • Attends and participates in monthly staff meetings
  • Provides courteous, empathic, and professional service

Schedule is Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 6:00am - 6:30pm

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Minimum one (1) year Behavioral Healthcare experience or minimum two (2) years Healthcare experience required
  • Inpatient experience preferred
  • Minimum two (2) years experience in customer service or call center environments
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
