Position Summary

As a Network Intern, you will gain valuable experience in network management and support. This internship provides a practical learning environment where you will assist in troubleshooting network issues, configuring network devices, and ensuring network security. Key Responsibilities

The responsibilities listed below represent the primary duties of this position. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

  • Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network hardware and software.

  • Support the troubleshooting and resolution of network-related issues.

  • Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability.

  • Participate in network security measures and protocols.

  • Document network configurations, issues, and solutions.

  • Assist with the setup of network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls.

  • Collaborate with the Tech Services team to support day-to-day network operations.

Required Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Basic understanding of network protocols and services (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).

  • Familiarity with network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls).

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

  • Eagerness to learn and apply new technologies.
