The Hanger-Union is responsible for processing, sizing, and tagging apparel to ensure it is ready for the sales floor. They also perform quality control checks and maintain an organized, safe work environment while meeting production quotas.

Qualifications

You have experience in apparel processing, including sizing, tagging, and hanging garments. You are responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work area, assisting with quality control, and accurately documenting production. You must be able to hang 100+ pieces per hour and adhere to safety policies.

Job Description

  1. Image (keep work area clean, neat, safe and organized).
  2. Categorization – Appropriate processing (sizing, type and colorization on rack).
  3. Place all salable apparel in the hang area of the sort table, tag and/or size apparel, hang apparel onto racks.
  4. Assist with quality control assurance (tears, stains, broken zippers, buttons).
  5. Reporting – Accurate production documentation.
  6. Transport racks of hung apparel to sales floor, assist with apparel rotation, dressing room checks as directed/needed.
  7. Maintains accurate hang count with the goal of 100+ pieces hung/hour. Keep River flowing.
  8. Maintains processing area and work output in a neat and clean condition at all times.
  9. Adheres to all GGC and personnel policies and procedures; follow good safety and security practices including reporting safety hazards and injuries to the Team Leader Coach or ATL.
  10. Responsible for performing assigned duties within the framework of our Guiding Principles:
  11. May be asked to participate in activities outside of Goodwill.
  12. Attends in-service related training as assigned by Team Leader Coach.
  13. Performs other duties as assigned by the Team Leader Coach
