Job Description
Description
This position works a hybrid schedule at our East Point location.
Who We Are:
The Atlanta Community Food Bank is working to end hunger in our community with the food, people and big ideas needed so that no one worries about where their next meal is coming from. Since 1979, we’ve been providing food for a growing network of nonprofit partners – including food pantries, community kitchens, childcare centers, night shelters and senior centers. We currently serve more than 700 partners in 29 counties across metro Atlanta and north Georgia.
Where You’ll Work:
The Enterprise Project Management Office (ePMO) supports cross-functional initiatives across the Atlanta Community Food Bank, partnering with departments such as Operations, Finance, and Partner Relations to ensure projects are aligned, well-governed, and successfully delivered. The ePMO drives consistency in project execution, improves organizational efficiency, and enables strategic initiatives that directly support the Food Bank’s mission.
About the Role:
The ePMO Intern role was created to support the growing portfolio of enterprise-wide projects and enhance the organization’s ability to deliver high-impact initiatives. As the Food Bank continues to expand its systems, data, and operational capabilities, this role provides critical support in project coordination, documentation, and reporting. The intern will gain exposure to enterprise systems, project governance frameworks, and cross-functional collaboration. This position is designed to both support day-to-day project operations and develop foundational project management skills. The intern will play a key role in ensuring project artifacts, timelines, and communications remain accurate and up to date.
