What you will be doing: 

  • Performs daily building inspections and tours
  • Welcomes residents and visitors, and helps them to and from their vehicles
  • Monitor all life safety devices for Independent and RC residents
  • Fill out daily shift and incident reports. Send daily to designated people
  • Assists residents with packages when they enter the community
  • Delivers packages to the residents' apartments daily
  • Responsible for logging and delivering of resident packages
  • Sort and distribute inter-office mail 
  • Assist residents by occasionally moving their vehicles to their assigned location
  • Provides requested assistance to residents in a courteous and helpful manner
  • Responds to Emergency Calls from residents and staff and direct to appropriate responders
  • Manages guest apartment reservations
  • Other duties as assigned

What we are looking for:

  • Ability to uphold our core values and follow policies and procedures.  
  • Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, senior living, or healthcare settings preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills (typing, email, scheduling systems, resident management software, administrative tasks). 
  • Must be able to take initiative to always find a way to say yes to both our residents and staff.   
  • Able to handle difficult or emotional situations, shows respect and sensitivity for cultural differences, and adheres to residents’ bill of rights.  
  • Able to work assigned schedules, have reliable transportation, and be on time for scheduled shifts.  
  • Most importantly, have a positive attitude and be able to smile at all times. 
  • Ability to stay calm during an emergency.
  • Empathy & respect for older adults.
  • HS Diploma/GED required; hospitality-related training preferred.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the community for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and carry 30 pounds as needed.
  • Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations
