Are you looking for an opportunity to grow, develop new skills, and make a meaningful impact? Spectro Alloys, a leader in aluminum recycling, is expanding and seeking motivated individuals to join our team. No prior experience is required we provide the training and support you need to succeed.

EGA Spectro Alloys is a high-volume aluminum recycling and foundry operation in Rosemount, MN. Our Production Associates are the backbone of the plant. You might work by the furnace one week, handle end stage product the next, or support different production areas as you learn our operations.

Compensation & Schedule:

We promote from within and love building talent! So, if you’re willing to work hard, show up every day, and ready learn how a real foundry runs, this is your starting point.

  • Starting Wage: $20.00/hr ($1.30/hr more for nights)
  • Rotating 3-2-2-3 Schedule (on for 3, off for 2, on for 2, off for three)
  • Days: 4:45am-5:00pm / Nights: 4:45pm-5:00am ($1.30 shift differential applies)

What to expect:

In this hands-on, fast-paced role, you will contribute to daily operations while building valuable skills:

  • Stack aluminum ingots (approximately 28 lbs each) and handle materials safely
  • Perform quality checks to ensure products meet company standards
  • Operate forklifts and other equipment (training provided)
  • Assist with routine maintenance and support overall plant operations
  • Follow all safety procedures and wear required protective equipment

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently
  • Comfortable working in both hot and cold environments
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn
